What a great find! The location is right in the City Center. The staff was amazing and very friendly. The restaurant offered great food, and the spa was a nice bonus for relaxation. Can't wait to come back!

The friendly staff. I was able to store my bike for free in the nearby garage. The central location between many restaurants and shopps. The proximity to the cathedral.
In case of a hotel with the addition "spa" I expected something clean and fine smelling. But the air in the room was awful, not just stale. It smelled of drain and there were cigarette butts on the windowsill. The desk was sticky.

Too expensive for the price
room old; view into the backyard; smelled in the room on arrival, should air first

Never thought a spa would mean dissapointment. Closed on Sundays and Mondays, where's the logic? Plus, why should I pay 10 euros extra for the tiny pool? I expected at least a complimentary upgrade due to my dreadful experience, but nope, just like the 2nd rate service here. Almost left a glowing review, but alas, I couldn't.

The spa was fabulous, a great way to relax after a long journey and fun for older children. The spa was included in the price of the room. Spa staff and receptionist were helpful.
Our room was at the front of the hotel so if noise disturbs you ask for a room at the back. We booked a triple room and were given a room with three beds but it was a tight squeeze.

The garage is a challenge and arriving for the first time you need information on bringing a car into the vicinity of the hotel which I did not have.

The cozy, modern room was well-equipped and inviting. The breakfast buffet featured a good assortment of options, including fresh coffee and pastries, which started my day perfectly.

The locacation and the room
Rooms like 207 with the window facing east are extremely noisy and sometimes even at 5 am I could hear the noise coming from the bars

I was here for 1 night and ate at outdoor restaurant which is where you order breakfast. The beds were comfortable as were the pillows. The setting was quite perfect within easy reach of Casa Botines Statue.
